Timothy Leary was interviewed by Paul Krassner in 1995, the year before he died. In this free wheeling interview, Leary talks about LSD, Death & Dying, the Catholic Church, the Internet, Ram Dass, G. Gordon Liddy, the Weather Underground, and more. This is an edited version excerpted from the 8 part series in Nancy Cain's video archives. And if you wonder why we call them "sacraments," here's scientific proof that psychedelics facilitate genuine religious experiences: In 2006, researchers at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Medical School, in a controlled double blind study, showed that those administered the active ingredient found in magic mushrooms had profound religious experiences. This is a professionally-edited summary of the #1 NY Times bestseller, The 4-Hour Workweek, narrated by Timothy Ferriss. Sample chapters and more can be found at www.fourhourworkweek.com This video of approximately 5 minutes is great for those new to the book or those who would like a compressed review of some key concepts.

A trippy compilation of video scenes put together along with clips from Leary's "How to Operate Your Brain". Most of it is set to "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane and "Incense and Peppermints" from Strawberry Alarm Clock. A fun movie, along with some of Leary's philosophies/ideas incorporated within. RIP Timothy Leary 1920-1996

PROGRAM NOTE: there are some problems with the video during portions of the program but the audio is solid. A better veriosn will be uploded in the relatively near term futre - but in the mean time I thought you might be interested in his perceptions as of March 1984. HHC Timothy Francis Leary, Ph.D. (October 22, 1920 -- May 31, 1996) was an American writer, psychologist, advocate of psychedelic drug research and use, and one of the first people to be buried in space. As a 1960s counterculture icon, he is most famous as a proponent of the therapeutic and spiritual benefits of LSD. He coined and popularized the catch phrase "Turn on, tune in, drop out."

Enlightening interview with UK spiritual and Gnostic author Timothy Freke. Timothy Freke has co-authored a number of books with Peter Gandy on Gnostic spirituality, including "The Jesus Mysteries" and their latest book "The Gospel of the Second Coming". In addition he has penned shorter works aimed directly at personal enlightenment such as his book "Lucid Living". This is an-in depth and fascinating discussion about Gnostic and Eastern spirituality in general, touching on all the inspiring as well as sometimes very controversial aspects of this subject matter. Required viewing for those curious about spiritual matters and the importance of it in our lives today, regardless of your own personal background or beliefs.

Another of my favourite vocalists - Tim Schmit - here doing a fabulous version of Brian Wilson's "Caroline No". The background harmonies on this track are just about the best the BBs have done for years and Tim's voice is as good as Brian in his prime. I hope you like it as much as I did. Please feel free to add your comments, ratings etc...I appreciate any feedback! Enjoy.... Ken

Yes, this is the real Timothy Leary, the real Cheech and Chong.... and a Public Service Message by Peewee Herman (Paul Reubens) from the mid 80's is mixed into the scene to make it even more bizzare. Michael Winslow plays Jimmy Hendrix in this edited clip from NICE DREAMS. You can see the UNEDITED version of this scene here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paJQk8Peloo
