    Good on you mate. Ashcroft is truly a legend. I was a die-hard Weller fan, but Ashcroft has swept him aside. He's easily the UK's best singer / songwriter. The guy's so real.

    I think this is my favourite song of all time. Richard Ashcroft, I honestly believe, takes a certain mind to fully appreciate his music. To me, he's like a friend I've never met. "You know the pain, drifts to days, drifts to nights, but it slowly will subside" - what a line. He's a genius and I'm proud to be a fellow Mancunian.
