I agree with you 55%; only because jazz (I love jazz) is too simple when compared to classical and doesn't involve enough emphasis as does certain forms of electronic music. Electronic music is classical music except it uses unrealistic sounds to emulate real musical instruments. Oh and when I mean electronic music I don't mean that poppy stuff you hear on the radio.

i think that pure jazz is the genre that approach more to classical music.

it,s proven that even kids at school calm down when listening to Mozart, remarkable ;) Should use it more often then in some classrooms ;)

    è semplicemente straordinario...

I don't think Rock, R&B, Blues, Pop... any genre can compare to classical music except for electronic music where the composer doesn't need words but needs to know about rhythm, timing, pitch, and when to incorporate 20 different sounds into one stream of music... reminds me of 1200micrograms and how the composition is so perfect.

nobody is forcing anything on anybody--get a life

There is no such thing as bad music, just bad taste. You choose yours, leave the rest be. Forcing your opinion upon them solves nothing.

if you don't like listening to good music--go to an acdc concert
  24. Chappell Says: January 8th, 2009 at 14:06:44

good but over rated like many things. no better then music from nutcracker. pachelbel who wrote canon in d major wasnt even rated in the top 100 composers. i think mozart is 2nd.
