borther, i hera you, us, the saviors, the ones that still believe are "swallowed" and drowning in the black depths of this generations music, not many of us are left, that are actually trying to save the genre, so for the next generation, us the ones that live this horrible gen of music, must put on a show for them. Dave grohl sjouldwin an award, he's one of the only ones left
im not emo grunge or goth. im a music fan. im actually really happy ^.^ and im pretty popular and i listen to all kinds of things even death metal. i luv nirvana WOOHOO!
thank god someone who likes good music. i hate my generation. so much, terrible music. i'm a guitarist lost in beautiful sound of previous times and i cannot stand what my people enjoy
Grunge, though birthed in Seattle -"the Seattle Sound", through the careful opinion of my ears says that it created a distinct sound followed by bands outside of Seattle. I find it mostly to do with the guitar, and also with the manner of vocals. I find that this sound is still found faintly alive in a lot of contemporary christian bands like Sanctus Real, and older Third Day. I love the grunge sound. My ear says, Bush definitely grunge!
grunge was just a term to label the bands from seattle
you listen to nirvana, alice in chains, soundgarden, tad, mudhoney, melvins, pearl jam etc they all sound different
grunge is the happy twisted, sunglasses wearing sun in the sky. looking down on everybody knowing thaT THEY dont have it as good as him. he can light sixty smokes without a lighter. now that doesnt make sense
Grunge is the dark bitter sound stuck in the back of your head banging on the wall, screaming. It's your insides twisted. It's a crawl inside deep base, voice after 60 smokes. Music that loves to make sense when it shouldn't.
If you punch 'Grunge' into Wikipedia it will give you the origins of the name and the defining style that makes up Grunge. Bush is actually considered 'post-grunge'.
I think personally in his mind.. he thinks hes to old for bush anymore and just like other frontmen in major bands when they get to the point when they begin to think like that its time to go solo and see if they can recreate in solo. But surprisingly his solo career song is doing pretty well i personally dont dig it but well;.
does anyone here know what the meaning of grunge metal is .... if you think you have a meaning please message me but if u say that grunge metal means kick ass music or some bullshit don't waste my time
cuz i really want to know what people think grunge metal means to them ... to me it means experimental music where u try things that don't make sense and gramaticaly are wrong and just completly fucked up music and thats what makes grunge... grunge
